Adult and Youth Formation and Sacrament Preparation

Faith Formation and Sacrament Preparation for K-8

The mission of our Faith Formation Program is to pass on the Catholic faith to our Children. A better understanding of the love God has for each of us is best developed in a loving community of learning and growth. We strive to do this by providing an atmosphere of acceptance, caring, and teaching as Jesus did.

    RCIA

The RCIA program at Saint Paul welcomes all who wish to inquire about the Catholic faith and those who choose to become full members of the Catholic Church. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective teen or adult converts to Catholicism. The journey reaches its climax at the Easter Vigil, where the candidates become fully initiated into the Catholic.

Youth Ministry for High School Students & Confirmation Preparation

Saint Paul's has a thriving youth ministry here to guide high school students into deeper relationship with Christ as they become adults in the Church. Lead by our youth minister, Mary Lindsey Edwards, and a team of committed volunteers, we enjoy weekly dinner, games, faith, and fellowship during youth group meetings. We also participate in service projects, retreats, and Catholic summer camps and conferences.

    Adult Faith Enrichment

During the year, various adult education programs will be offered. The topics, format, calendar days, and registration details will be announced in the Parish bulletin. These programs cover such topics as: Prayer and Spirituality, The Sacraments, Catholic Identity in the New Millennium, Understanding Liturgical Practices, Study of the Holy Trinity, Living as Jesus Did, Living the Beatitudes in Everyday Life, and a study and prayerful reflection on the Bible.

    Troops of Saint George

Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas
The Troops of Saint George apostolate aims to use the outdoors as our canvas and the sacraments as our path to light the way for the formation of Holy Catholic men and boys. Whether called to the vocation of the priesthood, the religious life, or that of Holy fatherhood, our fathers and sons will take a prayerful pilgrimage together to fulfill Christ's desire for them to grow in virtue and in their Holy Catholic faith as they journey toward heaven.

The "Juniors" were founded in 1926. Their goal is to help girls enrich their lives through service to others in their church, community, and the world. The JCDA motto is "Be Useful" with the mandate to "love God, serve others, and live nobly."
