About the event

Did you know? Since the time of Galileo, there have been about 286 priests and clerics who have been instrumental in science and mathematical fields. Georges Lemaitre, a Belgian diocesan priest with a Ph.D. in physics from MIT, is acknowledged as the founder of contemporary cosmology after discovering the Big Bang theory in 1927? Did you know the Vatican has its own astronomer? Come meet Vatican Astronomer, Brother Guy Consolmagno and learn more about the intersection of Science and the Catholic Faith on October 20th at 9:30 a.m. and October 21st at 9:30 a.m.

ABOUT US

At Saint Paul we know our mission to share the Good News through the truth, beauty, and goodness of our Catholic faith. We stand on the firm foundation of the Roman Catholic Church, founded by Jesus Christ. We welcome cradle Catholics, those coming back to the Church after years away, and those who have never stepped foot in a Catholic Church. If you have questions about the faith, how to join the Church, or how to get connected with our parishioners and ministries, please reach out to welcome@spccnb.org. We'll be happy to help!
