Last week, a group of our high school teens embarked on a journey to Life Teen Camp Hidden Lake—a week away from the noise and distractions of everyday life, immersed deeply in the heart of Christ.
Tucked in the mountains of North Georgia, Camp Hidden Lake is more than just a beautiful place—it’s holy ground. Throughout the week, our teens experienced the joy of community, the beauty of nature, and the transformative power of the sacraments. Whether it was through daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration under the stars, small group discussions, or simple moments of quiet prayer, the presence of God was unmistakable.
The theme of the week challenged each camper to live with purpose and freedom in Christ. Powerful talks, dynamic worship, and authentic friendships helped open hearts to a deeper relationship with the Lord. Many teens made their first real confession in years, experienced personal healing, or encountered Jesus in the Eucharist like never before.
Of course, there was plenty of fun too—high ropes, lake inflatables, messy games, and dance parties reminded us that joy is a fruit of the Spirit and that holiness is anything but boring.
As we return home, our prayer is that the fire lit at camp continues to burn in our hearts. Hidden Lake reminded us that God is real, He is near, and He is calling each of us by name.
Please continue to pray for our teens—that what began at camp will grow into a lifelong journey of discipleship.
