Last week, over 90 children at Saint Paul embarked on an exciting adventure through True North Catholic Vacation Bible School—a week filled with fun, friendship, and most importantly, faith.
In a world that often sends mixed messages about what truly matters, True North reminded us that Jesus is our guide and anchor, leading us with love and truth. Each day, children explored a new aspect of what it means to “Trust in Jesus” through hands-on crafts, lively songs, engaging Bible stories, and moments of prayer that pointed their hearts to God.
What made True North unique was its deeply Catholic focus. From learning about the lives of the saints to experiencing moments of prayer rooted in our tradition, this program planted seeds of lifelong discipleship. It was more than just a fun week—it was an encounter with Jesus, the True North who never fails to lead us home.
Parents, volunteers, teens, and staff came together to create a joyful and faith-filled environment where our children felt safe, loved, and inspired. The presence of our parish priests and seminarian added a powerful witness to the Church’s role in each child’s journey of faith.
As we reflect on the week, we continue to pray for our VBS campers—that their hearts remain open, their spirits lifted, and their eyes always set on Christ.
Because when we trust in Jesus, we never lose our way.
