Our parish community gathered this past Friday for a beautiful Lenten Soup Supper, generously hosted by our OCIA community. It was a joy to see so many parishioners come together during this sacred season to share a simple, meat-free meal, conversation, and fellowship. Lent invites us to slow down, pray, and grow closer to Christ—and evenings like this are a wonderful reminder that we walk this journey of faith together.
We are especially grateful for our OCIA community who hosted the supper. As they continue their journey toward full communion with the Church, it is a blessing for our parish to accompany them. Seeing their faith grow and their hearts open more deeply to the light of Christ is a true gift to our community. We eagerly look forward to welcoming them fully into the Church at the Easter Vigil.
Following the meal, we gathered in the sanctuary to pray the Stations of the Cross, walking spiritually with Christ through His Passion. It was a meaningful way to close the evening, turning our hearts toward the sacrifice and love that define this Lenten season.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this special evening. Opportunities like our Lenten Soup Suppers remind us how important fellowship, prayer, and shared faith are in the life of our parish. We look forward to continuing this journey through Lent together. ✝️🍲
