What a joy it was to welcome Fr. John De Guzman for a special visit before he officially begins his role as Parochial Vicar of Saint Paul Parish this summer!
Last Wednesday, Fr. John celebrated the school Mass and delivered a thoughtful and moving homily about the importance of knowing Jesus—not just knowing about Him. His message invited us all to deepen our relationship with Christ in a personal and meaningful way.
After Mass, Fr. John took time to chat with parishioners and then made his way to the school, where he visited classrooms, shared smiles, and engaged with students in a joyful and approachable way. His youthfulness, enthusiasm, and genuine spirit made an immediate impact on everyone he encountered.
We are confident that Fr. John will be a tremendous asset to our parish community. His presence will no doubt help further strengthen the Catholic culture at Saint Paul and offer meaningful support to school leadership, and parish ministries.
We look forward to officially welcoming Fr. John to Saint Paul on June 24 and are excited for all that God has in store for our community through his ministry.
Welcome, Fr. John—we’re so glad you’re here!
