Welcome, Seminarian Tom Rees

We are thrilled to announce that Seminarian Tom Rees will be joining our parish community this summer, beginning Friday, June 6. Tom is currently in formation for the priesthood at Saint Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida. He recently completed his propaedeutic year—a foundational period focused on spiritual growth and discernment.

Tom's home parish is Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on May 4, 1998, he graduated from Union Grove High School in Union Grove, Wisconsin.

Beyond his academic and spiritual pursuits, Tom enjoys a variety of activities, including weightlifting, rowing, video games, coding, reading, walking, pickleball, and biking. His favorite scripture passage is Luke 2:19: "But Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart." He holds a special devotion to St. Thérèse of Lisieux, who inspires his approach to faith and daily life.

During his time with us, Tom will be actively involved in parish life—assisting at liturgies, participating in ministries, and engaging with our community. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to support his vocational journey and to be inspired by his commitment to faith and service.
